Conversion to service house

About the project

At Sikargården in the Simonstorpsbygden, a venture is now being carried out to strengthen the visitor industry by renovating an existing house into a service house for motorhome tourists. The project aims to improve the service for guests traveling with motorhomes and thereby contribute to them staying longer in the area. The service house will have WC, shower, kitchen, and laundry facilities – important amenities that are in demand by today's travelers. At the same time, the number of parking spaces will be increased to meet the growing interest.

The project is part of the local collaboration initiative Simonstorp district, which works to increase tourism in the local area through joint efforts. With a better-equipped parking space, Sikargården will become a key point in this initiative, where visitors will have the opportunity to discover more businesses and experiences in the community.

In the long term, the project is also expected to contribute to more seasonal job opportunities and increased economic activity in the region.
