Four steps to your project
Step 1
Get started
Everything starts with a local need. Why do you want to implement the idea and are you more people who have similar thoughts? Start by anchoring the idea and discussing it with others. Meeting and discussing an idea or your place together is the first step in a development process. The local drive is the strength of a successful leader project. Already at this early stage, you can contact us at the office for guidance on how to proceed.
Step 2
Test your idea
If you have made some progress and have a clear project idea, you can test it here on our website. Then you will receive quick feedback on whether you need to refine the project idea further. If you haven't contacted us at the leader office yet, now is the time.
Step 3
Write the application
Now it is time to formulate the idea into an application. The application is your project plan where you describe the background of the project idea, what activities will be included, and what the project's goals are. The formal application must be registered in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's E-service. But before you register it there, you will together with the contact person at our office prepare a draft of the application.
The draft of the application will be presented to the board during a preparation meeting. Our board will review the draft, provide feedback, and give an initial assessment of whether the idea fits our strategy.
Step 4
Decision
When the application is registered and complete after preparation, the project will be brought up for decision at a board meeting. When the board meetings take place, you can see on the calendar here on the website. The project application must be completed at least two weeks before a board meeting to be considered for a decision.
