Web app Vikbolandet

The project aims to highlight and promote Vikbolandet's tourism and business. Within the project, a website, with the possibility to be downloaded as an application, will be developed.

About the project

The project aims to highlight and promote Vikbolandet's tourism and business. Within the project, a new future-proof website will be developed, with the possibility to be downloaded as a progressive web app. Through the website/application, it will become easier for all stakeholders in Vikbolandet to reach out with their message. The website will be a dynamic and interactive platform that will be equipped with tools that make it easy for businesses/associations to create information, events, and advertisements for their activities. Here, visitors in Vikbolandet will easily find information about businesses, attractions, events, and be able to book tables at restaurants and buy tickets.

The tourist of the future visits the place digitally before making a physical visit. Images and videos have a significant impact as they spread easily on social media and can be crucial for the choice of destination. To highlight Vikbolandet, films about the area will also be produced within the project to be shown on the website and can be shared via social media.

The goal of the project is a modern platform for information dissemination, increased awareness of Vikbolandet, and improved information for visitors. By increasing Vikbolandet's attractiveness as a destination, the area's businesses are strengthened and more jobs are created in the tourism industry.
