The Archipelago Troll at Aspöja

Within the project, a playground/attraction will be built on Aspöja inspired by the characters and environment in the book Skärgårdstrollet by Elin Söderholm. At ”Skärgårdstrollet on Aspöja,” children will have the opportunity to learn about nature and imagine stories that lead to play. Here, there will be opportunities to dress up as little trolls, and at certain times, activities will be arranged that include crafts, sausage grilling, and smaller excursions. The operation will be run by Ulrika Gustafsson, M.Gustafson Lantbruk AB. The idea for the project is based on the need for more things to do for families with children on the island to attract more visitors. Ulrika, who also runs a rental business for cabins, will collaborate with the local restaurant Forsmans on Aspöja.

Project goals

The goal of the project is to create a play environment inspired by the book Skärgårdstrollet. A new service and a new destination for families with children on Aspöja. The project will contribute to more visitors and is a new collaboration between the businesses on the island.
